I have been using hydrated bentonite on the Australian wildlife(joeys, kangaroos etc.) for some time quite successfully. But now I cannot buy it here in Australia but can import it for personal use. Bentonite clay is extremely fine and the best way to hydrate it (to create liquid bentonite) is to sprinkle a few tablespoons on top of a water filled wide bottomed bowl and leave overnight. Do not touch your hydrated bentonite with metal as it can affect the negative electrical charge created by the hydrated bentonite.
